Abdul Wasi Rahraw Omarzad (Kabul, 1964) is an artist, writer, and activist now based in Germany. He is a Professor at Kabul University and founder of the CCAA–Center for Contemporary Art Afghanistan in Kabul and the Women’s Center for the Arts, where many of Afghan young female contemporary artists have studied.
